Love doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel when I experience the wonderfully complex worlds within worlds we’re a part of. When I see death and decay creeping into every part of our living systems, human and more-than-human, 0.4 It breaks my heart, my soul, my body. I no longer can or want to ignore it.
I believe that the most important work of our time is birthing a regenerative civilization, and that information technologies are key to this transition. As a designer, I works to create new information landscapes aimed at re-imagining knowledge-creation, decision-making and resource allocation. As a researcher, I created this site as a container to investigate the role of information technologies in supporting the transition towards a regenerative civilization.
In my previous life as a product strategist in the startup and corporate innovation space, Andrea has led projects for clients such as Change.org and Mozilla. I also founded Pivotally a product discovery agency helping software companies understand their customers and conduct product experiments. After becoming disillusioned with the Tech for Good space and suffering a debilitating back injury, I was compelled to question every assumption I had about my own life, the technological infrastructure I was building, and our society as a whole.
